I'm considering adding on Yale and Princeton, but I don't really want to waste my time with applications for colleges that I know that I have very very little chance of getting in to.

-Tri-M music honors society member since 10th grade, plus current Vice President/publicity chair (meaning, I'm in charge of all publicity in our music dept), 10 hours per semester
-Docent at local interpretive center/aquarium (avg 4 hours/mon)
-Member of NHS
-Member of CSF (California Scholarship Federation)

-President of Chinese Honors Society

My ECs kind of limited, but very focused, and I'm very dedicated to them, specifically Chinese, music, sports and docenting.

Also, the summer before my junior year, I went to China for 6 weeks with my school to study the language/culture. Basic foreign exchange trip. It was a very influential trip in my life and will therefore probably be the basis for one of my (many) essays.

Thanks for reading all of that. And I'd love further suggestions for schools to look into based on my qualifications (as if I needed any more schools to my list).

how on earth did you end up with a 4.9 o_O

You’re not going to waste your time by applying Princeton and Yale.
Your stats are in their range of scores and your ECs look good. But try not to look like a one trick pony. YOu need more than just a passion for Chinese culture.

Just make sure you differentiate yourself from any other person with similar backgrounds (interest in China, good stats, etc).
