<p>I’ve had a summer job every summer since 9th grade and have held it through the school year.</p>

<p>The coach from Cal poly has notified me and has already told me to keep him updated on what I hear from admissions. </p>

<p>I had to look no further than AFRICAN AMERICAN FEMALE. First off they love girls there and are always trying to get girls in their programs. And second being black helps even more.</p>

<p>None of the California public universities take race or gender into account for admissions. </p>

<p>If the OP is still reading, her GPA (if weighted was reported) and ACT scores are on the low side. If her 9-11 weighted GPA is higher and if she improves her ACT score, she’s got a shot. SAT IIs are not considered.</p>
