<p>What program are you applying to?You sound like a strong candidate, although the SAT CR/W scores are a little low… I would retake those and maybe try the ACT. Your extracurriculars are good, and your coursework is rigorous. Just make sure you have a great essay and recommendations, and you should be good to go! Good luck!</p>

<p>i am applying to business/ engineering. and sat is just not my stuff. i took act last month, hopefully that went well. and my counselor told me my essay is really touching and different. and i sell vans and converse shoes online</p>

<p>um, pretty sure that is not possible. what <em>school</em> are you applying to?</p>

<p>If you’re applying to Stern (which I will assume), your SATs are on the low side. Though NYU admissions may consider the Writing less than the Math or the Reading, your Reading score is kind of on the low side, as is your Writing. In addition, if you’re preparing for a retake, I would aim for a 2100+. There are also no interviews for NYU, and NYU doesn’t count interest that high on their applications (I remember it was from one of the forms that colleges have to fill out about themselves… I just so happened to forget the name of it). But anyways, do you have any leadership roles in clubs? For it seems that you have little or none. Your GPA however, seems to fit the bill. My only main concern is your SAT and perhaps your lack of leadership.</p>

<p>I am a senior rep. for key club and i am also a senior captain on the soccer team. the sat is what i am worried about as well</p>
