Volunteered at Liberty Tutoring Services: 1200 Hours accumulated thus far. I tutored little kids, aged 5-8, in simple math, science and reading. I also helped them with homework. I have been tutoring them since my freshman year of high school.
Volunteer at Hillside Manor Nursing home: 100 Hours accumulated. I volunteered there since junior year and I, basically, helped the elderly with eating, reading, and moving around the building.
Swim Team- Ive been on the swim team since freshman year and now I swim 200IM, 200free and some relays.
Tennis Team- I was on the tennis team freshman year but I really couldnt make enough time to commit to it as much as I wanted to.
Robotics Team- I was one of the founding members of the robotics team in our school. I was a builder and at times tester for the robot.
Forensics Team- I am also one of the founding members of the forensics team. We are currently competing in the NYU Poly CSAW competition.
Model UN- I was a member of the Press Corps. in the MUN conference in 2010. I also received an award for honorable mention as a delegate for Jordan on the World Trafficking of Organs.
Club Council Representative- I was also a representative for Model UN in club council meetings with SGO.
Mixed Martial Arts- I was learning MMA for two summers at Kyodai Training Center and I also participated in some tournaments. I didnt win anything though.
Lifeguard- I was a lifeguard at Fort Totten pool for the summer 11. It took me three months to train to become one but now Im employed for the city.
Camp Counselor- Before I became a lifeguard, I was a camp counselor for two summers: 2010 and 2009.</p>

<p>Looks pretty good, but you can never really tell for top schools. Emphasize leadership. Your grades are decent and the SAT/ACT retake should help you!
