My common app essay is really good, and on an unusual topic: being a jew in a catholic school. it is very well written.

THANK YOU!

anyone please?!

Haha, relax. It doesn’t look like you have much to worry about. Statistically, you are within the ranges of a typical Colby student (perhaps a bit above in several areas). I’d be surprised if you got rejected. Whether you get accepted or waitlisted is really down to admissions and whatever factors they use. My only advice would be that if you are really interested in Colby, make sure that admissions knows.

bumppppppp

My daughter was accepted into Colby in April with almost the exact same GPA & SAT scores, though she scored better on the ACT (33 composite with a 36 on the English and a 36 on the Math). She applied from California, so not sure how that played into the equation. I think it is hard to get California kids to Maine. Anyway, your odds look good to me, though honestly, at these small liberal arts schools I think it is anyone’s guess. She got wait listed at Conn. College, a school we had sort of looked at as something of a safety.

You are a great candidate.
Are you visiting campus? Will you be interviewed?

I was told some colleges will waitlist you, knowing you will go someplace else.
They do it for their records.

thank you @userfriendly ! I did visit campus and I had an interview.
hopefully I won’t be waitlisted!
and update: I got a 700 of my spanish SAT 2 (very high for non native) so I will send that with my chem
