Waiting for my SAT score to come in…it should be scored within the next few days.

I think it depends on your SAT score, because your ACT score is pretty low compared to Tulane’s middle 50%.

What would you say is the minimum score I would need to have a shot at getting in?

According to their website, the middle 50% of this year’s freshman class had an ACT score of 29-32 and/or an SAT score of 1950-2150. Also, you’d need to score above these to be considered for a scholarship.

butaneVeins, I am guessing that the scholarships you are talking about are the full ride ones. My D had a 31 ACT (within the middle 50% range) and got a decent merit scholarship, though did not qualify for one of the full ride ones. So, students at the higher end of the middle 50% do qualify for some merit aid.

Take the ACT again.

My son raised his score from a 31 to a 34, with ZERO STUDYING.

Even just getting it up a point or two might help.

First of all, WHERE ON EARTH DO YOU GO TO HAVE A CLASS OF 1000 KIDS??? Wow… you’re gpa is amazing. You’re act could be better for that school try retaking it. You have greaet EAs. Make sure you get reccomendations and imrpove that Act score.

Indeed, those are the ones I was speaking of- I guess I just phrased it that way because I know I’m not going to be able to get to Tulane unless I get close to a full ride.

Just so everyone is clear on this, Tulane at this time does not have full ride scholarships (other than the Hainkel, which is for two Louisiana residents only). The DHS is full tuition; fees, room & board and books/supplies are still the obligation of the student. We will see what the Weatherhead scholarships will be.
