GPA: 3.2
SAT: 1470
Taking AP Stat and AP World this senior year.
I do not have much Extra Curricular at ALL....but for what its worth it consists of church work (vacation bible school, president of youth group) and photography/videography (portraits, weddings, events, etc.)
Any hope at all guys?

I don’t really know enough to give you an accurate chance, but you should check out ■■■■■■■■■■. you just sign up & fill in your information, then they’ll show you graphs of accepted and rejected students for whatever school you want, and mark where you lie on the graph.

sorry, but i don’t think so. i had higher stats than you, but went to community college instead. i believe there were other people who also had stats similar to yours who either got waitlisted or rejected.

I’m aware that im pretty much screwed with the gpa i have right now, but would i have a chance if my SAT went up?

if it is 1900 or higher, maybe

I think you gpa is fine, could be better but is fine. The real problem is your SAT score, definitetly retake and aim for an 1800 or above. Also you might want to just try the ACT for the heck of it, I know plenty of people who did much better on that then the SAT. As of now your SAT score will keep you out of the new brunswick campus.

invader71 is right. try to get a 27 or higher on the ACT and you’ll have nothing else to worry about.

The application deadline is December 1st so im afraid i wont be able to make another SAT date, but i just want to know if theres at least a slim chance for me to get in with the score i have now? i dont want to be wasting money on an application if theres absolutely no hope.

probably not. you can apply to newark or camden, or go to community college like i’m doing, and apply as a transfer after 1 1/2 - 2 years. it’s easier to get in as a transfer.

appreciate the help thanks. oh, and i did register for cappex and it really is useful. statistically it said that i can apply to rutgers new brunswick if im feeling lucky haha
