This whole chancing thing is a little ridiculous, but I'm freaking out about UVA and would like the input of others. I'm a male from New York and I go to one of the best NY private schools. My school has a very good relationship with UVA, and last year 12 out of 25 applicants were admitted.

Sats:

Sat IIs:

Math 1 = 700

GPA: My average (93ish) equates to a 4.1 out of 4.0. GPA's in my school go over the norm of 4.0 because the academics are held in high regard by NY state. I don't want to sound stuck up, my school just has a good reputation.

Class Rank: 46 out of 421 (11th percentile)

Courses: My school doesn't have any AP or honors courses. All students graduate with an IB and take the same courses. That being said, before freshman year you take tests in science, math, and language. If you do well enough, you place out and take those classes with the grade above yours. I placed out in just math.
