Hey everyone!
I applied to Smith last year and got waitlisted. I think that I will be applying as a transfer this year. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Hey, I remember you from last year! Glad you are giving it another shot.

I think you have a decent shot at transferring. I would be curious what kinds of courses you’re taking this year.

Good luck! :D

This past semester I took art history 101, sociology 101,theatre 176, math 103, and Spanish 202.

Admittedly, I don’t know too much about how test scores work with transfers, but I would think your ACT might be the only thing holding you back if it is considered. Luck!

In my experience, I really don’t think test scores matter that much for transfers. I was a transfer this year and a handful of my transfer friends didn’t even submit theirs so…yeah. Our high school and college GPAs are exactly the same and I got in! Work really hard on the essays and I think you have a good shot! Feel free to PM me if you have any specific questions about transferring to Smith. Good luck!!

Radiosonde- That is so good to hear. I am so nervous, but I love Smith so much! How are you finding the transition? Where are you living on campus?
