hi everyone!
so i'm a sophomore at uw and i'm freaking out about getting into my major. i know the psychology major is competitive and my gpa is 3.0. what are my chances?

From psych website:

While the specific GPA cutoff may vary from quarter to quarter, a “competitive” cumulative psychology GPA generally ranges between 3.00 and 3.20 (GPA is for Psych 101, 202 and 209).

[University of Washington Psychology Department](http://web.psych.washington.edu/psych.php#p=46)

So you’re at the general lower end of the GPA cut off, but it changes every quarter. How are your psych grades compared to your other grades?
