The reason why I did really bad in 10th grade is because i was mentally depressed for a while..... I had gone through a mental breakdown and it had lasted throughout the entire 2 years. Ya i rly dont want to state why i was depressed here but I explained y in my college essay. I started to regain and become "normal" at the start of 11th grade.</p>

<p>I took so many SAT 2's because i need to compensate for my failure in 10th grade, and because I could take it.</p>

<p>I changed a lot between 10th and 11th grade. I am sure the my huge upward trend can help me when i apply.
So please give me feedback and ur opinions </p>

<p>Wow great save! I think you’ll be fine at the mid tier UCs and low tier UCs. The top 3 will still be a slight-high reach for you. Good luck!</p>

<p>Wow, I see you have a knack for SAT II tests. You’re definitely in Irvine. I agree with the above posters. UCSD, UCLA, and UC Berkeley are the only UC’s that I think you’re chances are slightly lower at.</p>

<p>Do you have an intended major? Why is UCLA your dream?</p>

<p>Your GPA is low, but your upward trend & initiatives will definitely help.</p>

<p>Do you have any examples of leadership in your app, besides being an officer of a club? Don’t get me wrong, your EC’s are excellent. But demonstrating leadership is something the admission officers love to see. </p>

<p>You’re definitely passionate for succeeding, and it definitely shows. In my opinion, you will make into at LEAST UCI or UCD. So I wouldn’t be surprised if you get SD or LA.</p>

<p>You have higher stats than my roommate, and she got into UCLA. She also went through problems in 10th grade which resulted in a very low GPA, but after that her grades were decent. Her SAT I scores are similar, your SAT II scores are higher. As long as your personal statement elaborated on your dip in GPA, I honestly think you’ll get into UCLA, definitely UCI/UCD.</p>
