No EC’s and low GPA? Honestly I don’t think you have a very good chance. Your SAT and ACT scores are very good but GPA and EC’s play a very important factor. Also, if you are applying for math a 750+ on the SAT II Mathematics Level II wouldn’t hurt.

Just wait it out, but if you don’t raise your GPA your chances are low.

I got into UCSC today with a 3.9uw/4.2w and a 1740 on my SAT, but many of my friends with 2000+ on their SAT’s and 3.1-3.3uw GPA’s did not get in. This shows how important GPA is.

I was rejected with similar stats to yours last year (and same major - if that means anything). I’d say maybe you have something like a 40% chance. Your SAT’s and GPA probably won’t put you straight through by the main part of their formula; it’s going to depend on whether the less significant parts of their formula, which deal with the less significant variables, push you over the line, i think.

You don’t have a high chance of going. Your personal statements are your last hope. There’s still a chance for you and maybe your personal statements will make the difference, but only time will tell.

Best of luck! Waiting can be so hard, sometimes. ;)
