Chance me!

<p>I'm just getting really anxious for this Friday! AH!!!!
I have applied to UCB, UCLA, UCR, UCSB, UCSD and UCI</p>

GPA - 3.8 UW, 4.12 W
APs [my school only offers 3 junior year and 3 senior year] - (4 total) Calc, Bio, Psych, Gov
Honors [again, my school doesn't offer as many honors] - 5 classes total
Rank - top 20%
Intended major - pre-business/econ</p>

my city's serving people in need club (2yrs)
church youth council president (3yrs)
dance (2yrs)
hospital volunteer (1.5yrs)
korean school volunteer (4yrs)

&a lot of other clubs at school but i didn't have a position in those clubs so yeah :P</p>

<p>Awards -
president's service award (2 times)
southern california photography contest, 2nd place
honor roll (4yrs)</p>

<p>Essays-
1. how i helped an ADHD girl through her korean class (i was her teacher for a whole year)
2. my love for business and how my first birthday had to do with it (yeah um, don't ask me how/why but i really liked this essay. haha)</p>

<p>School-
big public school freshman year, but transferred to a
Small private all girls catholic school
highly competitive,
~100-105 students in my class
-----About 10~12 students got into UCLA last year
and 6~7 are actually attending right now (if that has to do with anything)</p>

<p>&I don't have any connections at UCLA, NADA!</p>

<p>I got accepted to UCR and UCSB.
UCI still says it's pending -_-
I got rejected from UCSD.... but then again, they didn't really have a business major that i wanted so.. it's fine. but it scares me because if i didnt get into SD, i probably won't get into LA right?!?!</p>

<p>sat a bit low, sat 2s a bit low but they dont matter, gpa average lowish.
UCLA is a reach for you.
Good luck.</p>

<p>do they really just look at your SAT, SAT2, and GPA?
cause if it is… i screwed :(</p>

<p>Don’t worry. UCLA does a holistic review and takes EVERYTHING into account-not just GPA and SAT. So your essays and EC’s (wich are really good btw!) count for a lot too.</p>
