Georgetown is my dream school. It has a Roman Catholic affiliation (by the way, does my Catholicism help me? I know that only 40% or so there are actually Catholics). The campus and location are great, DC has a ton of possibilities for internships and jobs. I realize that I'm not the top of my class, but I'm hoping that I have a chance. I know I'm only a sophomore so I still have a long way to go, but it's best to get an idea of where I'm headed and how I'm doing.

Before I get into academics, I have several community service hours and I have some work experience as a camp counselor. My transcript does not show the amount though :( I have a fair amount of extra curricular activities, I play piano, dance, and take voice lessons. In school, I am in a select ensemble for chorus that has very high esteem and has won several medals for excellence. This summer I will be working as a counselor, travelling to Tennessee for a work camp with my church, and going to the Brown Leadership Institute to take Leadership and Global Engagement.
I am Filipino and Catholic.

Freshman year GPA: 3.63, no idea what it is right now
Honors Algebra 2: B- I was able to scrape out
Earth Science, level 1: A-
English, no level: A-
World History, no level: A-
Spanish II, level 1: A-
Also took chorus and gym classes

Sophomore year:
Honors English: B+ so far, I expect my third quarter to be higher
Biology: A- average so far
Geometry, level 1: A, far too easy, there is a large discrepancy between honors level and level 1 classes
APWH: B average, I should have a B this quarter as well.
Spanish III, level 1: A, very easy, I unfortunately cannot move up to honors with languages and my eighth grade Spanish teacher kept me at level 1 because I didn't do my homework enough. Now I do it every day :(
Also taking chorus (honors credits this year), Foundations of Art and gym

Junior year, I expect to take APUSH, Honors American Lit., AP Human Geo., Level 1 Chem (my teacher recommended me for AP, kind of wish I took it now :/ ), Level 1 Advanced Math, Level 1 Spanish IV

Senior year I might do AP Physics if I really want to, maybe AP Stats depending on how the course looks, English electives, AP Euro. History, Level 1 Spanish, honors credit chorus, possibly AP Psych?
