<p>I'm currently in the 11th grade and just got back my SAT scores and would like to think what you guys think about my admission to Vandy.</p>
<p>I have a 4.62 weighted GPA, 4.0 unweighted</p>
<p>On the SATs i got:</p>
<p>Critical Reading: 740
Math: 720
Writing: 730</p>

<p>Score-wise you have a good shot. Other things you’re going to have to consider: APs/extracurriculars/honors/<em>your essay</em></p>
<p>I would take it again to see if you can get a higher math score since the curve on that is usually terrible (The first time I took it, I remember that 3 questions wrong brought me down to a 720 before I took it again and improved my scores).</p>
<p>It sounds like you have a good shot to me. My best advice: if you’re really serious about Vandy, make an effort to show your interest when it comes time to apply. I didn’t have flawless test scores but I did visit, interview, and communicate with my adcom throughout the process and I really believe this made a world of difference.</p>

<p>i would say you have a really good chance if you apply ED. I have very similar stats (720 M, 750 CR, 760 W) and I was recently waitlisted for regular admission.</p>
