* I lived in Cairo, Egypt for my freshman year. It was an amazing experience and I am hoping to tie this into my essay in my application. There were not many opportunities for extracurriculars at the school there( If this explains why i didnt do anything in 9th grade)
I LOVED Colby when I visited. I loved the Campus. Everyone was so friendly and helpful! I also loved their Global Studies Interdisciplinary Major and Jan Plan! I am considering applying early decision, however I have some other schools to visit but as of now i think i will.
Thanks so much!

If you are planning on having an interview at Colby, play up that you lived in Egypt. Colby loves to have students that have different experiences and come in with new perspectives. It is also good that you took AP classes because Colby likes to know that you took advantage of the most challenging classes offered at your school. If you are just a junior this year, be sure to continue being involved in the different clubs you are involved with now. Your SAT scores are a little bit lower than the Colby average but your level of activity within school is good. You should definitely come visit and schedule an interview if you have the time.

I am definetly planning to interview! One thing I loved about Colby was that it had students from something like 64 countries! Thanks for the advice!
