So, my chances? And any idea about out-of-state aid?

I would say you will definitely get in.

you are even with my daughter and stronger in a few course contents, she got in and a small scholarship. I’d say you are pretty safe.
I know of a few kids who got around 7-9K in money with stats like yours. hope this helps. each year is different of course.

Yes you are getting in as of now. However, only if you keep up your amazing work ! Udel is one of those schools who care the MOST about senior year. If you don’t keep up your grades and gpa, and they drop significantly they will be dissapointed and maybe wait list you. I know its crazy, but they are actually crazy when it comes to senior year. No slacking ! Oh and it is very hard to get a scholorship for a lot of money out of state for Udel, they favor in state people like no other. You may get a small scholarship, and if you request financial aid you will definetly recieve it. Also, keep up your strenuous courses, they don’t want to see you drop from an Ap to an Honors or an honors to a cp. My friend who is really smart had all of Udels criterea, it was his target school. and He took extremely easy classes his senior year and got kinda crappy grades and was actually denied from udel AND penn state UP, and a bunch of other schools he could of easily of gotten into. It doesnt seem like it should be a problem for you tho, you seem very smart ! keep it up!

My final SAT score is a 1950. (600 reading, 660 math, 690 writing)

Change anything?

Probaly minimal effect if any. As noted by lexxemmx3 you really need to keep up you Sr. Yr. HS courses. Take 5 courses in major subject areas both semesters with as many AP/Honors courses as possible and get as good grades as posssible. Senioritis is fatal if you want to get into UD. Actually UD provides a larger percentage of total merit scholarship money to OOS students than most other Public Univerities in the country. The problem is that UD is made up of 2/3rds of OOS students so the available money has to be spread out over many more OOS students than at other public universities (so competion for “top dollars” is intense). In addition the SATs of OOS students applying has beeen steadily increasing over the last 5 years. With your high SAT scores you might want to consider applying to the Honors Program. On this board there was a Delaware state resident who had applied for this year and I believe had SAT scores around 2200, coasted and did relatively poorly in her courses in her Sr. year, and was only offered admission to the 2 year Associates Degree Program that UD has available. UD is very serious about Sr. year performance. They want to see that students are prepared to succeed in the rigorous courses provided at UD. So keep it up and do your best your Sr. year. Best wishes to you.

Absolutely not true…

yeah, you’ll definitely get in. You will probably get a decent sized scholarship and if you tried you could get into the honors college.

I think probably not honors, but if it’s a great essay it’s possible.
