<p>Hi,</p>

<p>Could you chance (I'll chance back!) me at:
- Duke (early decision) [possibly nursing]
- Harvard
- Brown
- UVA
- UNC
- Wake Forest
- College of William and Mary
- Boston College</p>

<p>I go to an independent (both public and private, weird, I know) school.
I have a 3.94 unweighted GPA (4.23 weighted) and I am <em>10 of 550</em> (top 2%) in my class. I got a 32 on my ACT's and I am waiting for the June scores to come back. I have not taken the SAT. Highest honors all semesters. My recommendations will come from my AP US History teacher and my independent study advisor (also advisor for Young Voters Society, see below). Both have written me recs before and they have been superb.</p>

<p>Took most rigorous course load possible at my school freshman-junior year...
Senior year classes will be:

- Political Science Independent Study</p>

- Young Voters Society (since 9th grade), President this year + next year
- Athletic Training Intern (unpaid, Junior + Senior year, 30 hrs./week/30 weeks)
- Lacrosse (since 9th grade)
- Unified Sports (since 9th grade), captain this year + next year
- National Honors Society
- National Science Honor Society
- Work for a US Senatorial Campaign this summer
- Worked at a private oncology office last summer in medical records</p>

<p>Hiring a profession to help with my essays. I read just some of the samples he gave me and they all gave me goosebumps. He even showed me an essay that he ended up not sending because he didn't think it was good enough and I still thought it was amazing... So... my essay should be fantastic in addition to my credentials above.</p>

<p>You would have a chance at Duke ED, but maybe not the Ivies. Good scores, and good for you for taking the most rigorous curriculum. Your ECs are unique and definitely show dedication. Essays won’t usually hurt you in the long run, but the fact that you are getting someone to help will make it a great addition to your application. </p>

<p>If you are in-state you are in at UVA and W&M. UNC, Wake Forest, and BC are all matches in my opinion. <p>I have a friend who took 1870 on the SAT top 10% 4.0 GPA tons and tons and tons of extracurricular. He got into Yale, I was shocked because his SAT was not that much. You have a chance.</p>
