Chance me? :)

Cornell University is my dream school. I want a brutally honest "Chance me" for me please. I plan to apply to the college of arts and sciences with a major in Physics and Minor in Chemistry. I am hispanic and English is my second language, my stats are:
rank- 19/704
gpa Weighted - 5.25/6
unweighted - 4.0

ACT-31

SAT II
Physics - 780
Chem. - 750
Math Lvl II - 750

APs
4s in Physics B and C mech, Chem and English
3s in US history and world history

I am the president of two clubs (Astrophysics and Environmental) and I was the historian for SkillsUSA.
I am in NHS, Masterminds, AV club, Glee Club, and Choir. I have ALOT of community service with the Environmental club and I started the Astrophysics club.
I realized that there are no Physics related clubs at my high so that is why I started the astrophysics club.
I am also a member of the NYLSC and I have done community projects with my church.
With the Environmental club I have hosted various events such as a Back to school festival for lower-class families.
I also helped start the first Physics C class at my high school.

Do I have a chance? I plan to take ACT in september and SAT in November again. I also plan to get an interview at Cornell and visit the campus. Is there anything I could do my Senior year to help??

Your ACT score is the only “below average” part of your application:

http://dpb.cornell.edu/documents/1000176.pdf

…apply ED & I think you have a good chance!

I am applying ED btw! Thanks

If you are applying ED, then your November SAT score may not be considered in time. You will be fine anyway if you get a 33+ on the September act.

So yeah solid chance Ed, will go either way.

Cs, that is the enrolled numbers. Accepted stats are generally higher.
But yes, you are a strong ED applicant even without URM status. RD would be okay for you too, but you would not stand out as you do in ED.

Is there anything I could do to help??
