<p>How do I come off as a pretentious ass? I really would like to know. If it is because I stated that my school is in the top 100 USHS, then BELIEVE me I would rather not go to my current HS at all. Throughout the school, the atmosphere and competitiveness is pervasive. THis often leads to students boasting about how little sleep they get every night. For example, “You got 8 hours of sleep last night? Pffft slacker, I got 6 hours”. Also, believe it or not, a 2050 SAT score is considered on the low end at my school. All in all, the reason why I wanted you to know the rank of my HS is because I wanted you all to realize that my APs/Test Scores don’t really set me apart from any of my classmates at all.
