<p>Hi I'm a rising senior and will be applying to schools this coming fall.</p>

<p>-Applying to College of Engineering
-From NJ
-Male
-Indian+Muslim
- GPA - 3.69
-Will be taking October after studying my butt off this summer but official score right now is
1900 Math:680 CR:590(retarded) Writing:630...Blue book practice test project a 2100</p>

<p>I know my gpa is very low but if I do work hard and get my sat up to a 2100 can i get in with everything else the way it is? And please be HONEST!!</p>

<p>imo, your chances are not good. They are looking for near perfect scores on everything. It probably increases your chances a bit if you apply early decision but I think your scores are just too low.</p>

<p>This applies to engineering. They are more forgiving (with test scores) for the art students (I overheard a conversation between admissions and a parent while on a tour).</p>

<p>To increase your chance,</p>

<p>GPA: +4.4(W)
SAI I: +2250
SAT II: +780 Both
Activity:+ 200 Hrs
Essay: Very Excellent.</p>

<p>Otherwise, find another option like NYU Ploy</p>
