<p>I would just work on raising your standardized test scores. Other than that, nothing jumps out at me. I would add that UF no longer does race-based admissions. </p>

<p>Work on getting your SAT up about 200 point and you’ll probably be in.</p>

<p>I agree that your SAT is low, but you still have time to retake it. Make sure to devote time to write your essay. I think in your case it will determine whether or not you get in. SAT is important too, though.</p>

<p>Yep, I believe that’s right. I think the need them by like December, I don’t remember exactly.</p>

<p>Yep. You retake the test just tell them to send the scores to UF. IIRC you can send scores electronically to up to two schools for free.</p>
