Thanks so much in advance!

Your extracurriculars and test scores look very good. Steady improvement in your GPA is also a good sign, and it sounds like you’ll get strong letters of recommendation. My only question would be why was your GPA “low” originally? If it’s a matter of your getting some B’s early on in high school, I doubt that will be a huge issue when it comes to admissions. However, if you got a cluster of C’s or something, that might be a bit more of a concern.

Still, all things considered, I think your chances are pretty high. Applying ED would be a good plan if you’re absolutely sure that you want to go to Wellesley. Just spend a lot of time writing your application essays and don’t stress out too much!

If you have any more questions, feel free to ask. I’m currently a Wellesley senior, and I’m always happy to help prospective students.

Thanks so much for your help. I got straight As at my old school. When I transfered, I got early straight Bs the first semester. I’ve worked myself up and continued to challenge myself, and I think I’m in the running for straight As this semester. I only have the one C in AP Bio second semester. Do you think this might be too much of a blemish on my transcript though?

Oh! No, not at all. I got a C in AP Chemistry and a few B’s in high school and still got in. Don’t stress about it. :)

Sorry to bother you, but would you personal message me (I can’t seem to privately message you). I have a few more questions…

For sure! (I think you might have to post a certain amount before you can initiate PMs.)

You look like a competitive candidate. Best of luck!
