Volunteer/ traveled in the summers (always used my summers productively)

Honesty is appreciated

Your ECs and hooks are good, but your SAT and GPA are a little low for Penn’s standards. However, your recommendations may make up for some of that. Best of luck!

sorry to break the news man but Subject tests are required and if it was postponed you’ll have to do regular decision

Honestly, I was in the same situation as you with a 1900 on my SAT… Your score may be acceptable for CAS but I know that that’s just not gonna cut it for Wharton if you’re planning on applying there

Actually, Penn waives them for those effected by sandy and unable to take them…

are you applying RD or did you already apply ED? Is is true for the waiving thing? Because I didn’t get an email saying that and I was affected by Sandy… and I wonder how they will manage to consider my SAT II scores since they will get them by dec 6th…

I already applied ED and I called the school, they said that if they might not be able to consider them when reviewing you. They never mentioned moving to regular decision like julaine suggested.

you’re fine!

Really? I thought I read that if they were postponed then you should apply RD. Maybe that was just for SATs

And I got a 1980 so Im in the same boat as you guys, also a hooked candidate but applying to SEAS. Hope our 1900spants cut it

1900s cut it*
