I would say you have a great chance! Well, considering that schools like Harvard, Yale, and Stanford are basically a lottery system for most students. You’ve got great ECs (nice leadership positions); you seem to keep yourself pretty busy :)

You obviously have a passion for math and science as well as music, which you showcase through your ECs and Awards. Plus, you’re pretty well-rounded, unlike me; I’m a musician but also about as athletic as a rock. I’d say you would stand out, but I’m no application reader.

Chance me back?

You’re gonna have to try a lot harder if you want to go to a competitive school like MK

Can anyone else chance me?

bump bump bump.

I hate you, I hate you I hate you.
I’m kidding :slight_smile: Your scores are great, your EC’s are great, your chances look really good. You seem to have as good chances/better chances than normal at HYPSM/I’m guessing Wharton (but they’re potshots!)- Good luck!

Very impressive stats, you’ll definitely stand out with your EC’s and how well-rounded you are. I think you’re a really competitive applicant at all of these schools, but it’s always hard to say. My guess is that out of these 6, you’ll probably get into at least half of them, probably even more. Good luck!

one last bump.

Oh yeah - forgot to mention i’ve played in a local orchestra for the past 4 years (probably the best youth orchestra in the state). Dunno if that makes much of a difference.

will chance back if you chance me

You’ll get into several of your schools and have some choices to make. You’ve got the asian kid thing going + the varsity sports which is great to differentiate yourself from the stereotypical asian kids w/the high SAT’s/GPA.

Public school…you go to Whitman or Churchill?

You honestly are one of the more qualified students on the forum. You’re very well-rounded, unlike many of your competitors and actually participated in volunteer activities. I think you have a great chance for MIT/Penn and a good chance for the rest. They’re all kinda wish-washy when it comes to admissions, but you’re bound to get into at least 2 imho.
Chance back?

@yolocholo: (whiman/churchill?) no, he doesnt.

@dchen1395: LOL, truth.

@ambience: what about that music major :D

lol I realized I didn’t really want to spend a year working on audition material… plus Yale has a top notch music school which sometimes takes undergrads.

anybody else wanna distract me before friday? >>;
