<p>I applied to Rutgers New Brunswick Nursing on Dec. 1</p>
<p>My GPA is 3.9(weighted), but my SAT is horrible. Its 1470 (550 math & 520 critical reading). However, I've played 2 sports(varsity&captain), in alot of clubs(as an officer), done alot of community service, took honors and ap classes, and in my class top 4%.</p>

<p>Your SAT is on the low side. I think you need at least 200-300+ more points to be more competitive. But don’t lose hope!!! Hopefully your GPA will compensate for it.</p>

<p>I never knew how important SATs were until it was too late. I already took it 3 times and I didnt want to take it a 4th because then my scored would’ve averaged out. So basically, that’s final for my SATs score. :((((</p>
<p>Well Rutgers superscores, which means they look at the highest score from each section. So if you are willing to put in the effort to raise your score, taking it the 4th time is worth it.</p>
<p>The next SAT isn’t until January and Rutgers doesn’t accept anymore apps by then so I believe im SOL :/</p>
<p>I’m pretty sure they do… you just aren’t guaranteed an online decision by February 28.</p>
