chance me?!

Hey guys,
I'm currently a junior in high school. Dartmouth has always been my dream school since I grew up going there for campus events like homecoming and winter carnival (I'm legacy). I was just wondering if you guys could chance me based on my ECs, scores, etc.

ECs--> founder of the classics appreciation club at my school, member and junior editor of the french magazine at my school, founder of women helping women (a group that helps to support unwed pregnant women both emotionally and financially during and after her pregnancy), member of the varsity swim team since freshmen year (which won 1st in the league for two years consecutively), member of the varsity women's crew team outside of school, play violin, and am first chair in the school orchestra.

Scores--> I just took my first official SAT this month, but looking to get my scores up. 2150--> 750 CR/ 720 W / 680 M
SAT subject tests: Latin 760; French 800; Chemistry 720 (planning on taking Math II this May)

GPA--> 3.8 UW/ 4.4 W

APs and Honors--> Sophomore year: World History (only one offered at my school)/ 5
Honors alg 2/trig, Honors french 3, Latin 3, Chemistry, British Literature
Junior year: AP Chem, AP french, AP English Lit, Latin 4, Honors Precalc, US history (regular) (3 AP limit junior year)

**planning on taking AP Bio, Physics, AP Spanish Lit, AP Euro, Shakespearean English, AP Latin, AP Calc AB Senior year

Hooks: I'm legacy at Dartmouth. I am hispanic and am fluent in Spanish (spoken at home, and it was my first language). Also I am proficient in French.

Service: 50 hours last year at the local retirement home, many hours through women helping women. I know I need more service

I also spent my last summer at a Latin program at Oxford University with a professor from the university. It was the best experience of my life, and it really improved my latin skills. Additionally, I am planning on taking an ancient Greek course over the summer and going on an archeological dig.

I know Dartmouth is pretty much a reach for everyone since it has such a low acceptance rate, but I would really appreciate if you took the time to chance me!
Thanks!

Bring your SATs up and I think you’ll have a pretty decent chance being legacy and all. If you do well on AP Exams, those scores can differentiate you.

Write a spectacular essay and get outsanding recs and i would not bet agaisnt you. Try to get as many As as possible next semester.

With that being said, you may still get rejected. Its highly competitive. College admissions are luck, but you can always improve your chances to be lucky. If its your true first choice, applying early can help too I suspect.

thanks guys!
