I really am hopig to get in after being rejected from my top school today (NYU).

I have a 3.83 GPA unweighted. 1950 SAT. Top 15% of my class. In two ap classes this year and lots of honors classes over the years. My ECs include chorus, select chorus, drama club, journalism club, literary magazine, gay straight alliance and theatre arts. However I have no volunteer experience or work experience.

What do you guys think?

You’ll get in no problem from in state.

StephiMarie,

With your stats your well on your way to becoming a UCONN student. My DS is in-state and got in with a 1770 SAT and was in the top 25% of his class. He just finished his first half of the year in engineering and did quite well. He is now jumping from the hot pan into the fire and getting into the electrical engineering degree program. Can’t wait until he gets into his diffy Q class… Oh the pain…LOL, I just cant feel sorry for the amount of hours he will need to study…any engineer will smile and agree.

Thanks everyone for your input!

Definitely yes if you are in state, and judging from this year’s acceptances, yes to out of state, as well.

I got in guys! So happy!
