Very low. Your senior schedule is extremely weak and your GPA is way too low.

I’d say it’s a reach! Go apply! My test score stats were similar and sometimes lower (2200 SAT, 640 chem, 690 math ii, 540 spanish) and lower AP exam scores.

You’re in the zone plus your ECs look pretty interesting. Go for it and be wary asking your competition to chance you. Write great essays.

27% to 29% chance.
But seriously, there’s no way of knowing

what school?

I applied to Ag and Science elberly college. I just read my letter today and I was accepted. My ACT was 17 I have never taken AP classes and only 1 honors class that was Spanish. 34 credits. I had a LOT of volunteer and EC though. GPA 3.8 and 11 of 108 graduation class. OOS

I say you have a good chance of being accepted

Are people not seeing the 3.6 gpa…?

Wallrus75 is right though, it doesn’t look good that you have all honors and AP and you only have a 3.6 GPA but I would still say you have a good chance.

I guess I’m not seeing it. I would definitely apply since these people see potential in you.

Foster Girl,
Eberly College where you were accepted is part of Penn State University. This thread is for the University of Pennsylvania which is a different school.

wharton17: wharton

wallrus75: the gpa is low, but theres personal reasons involved for last year so hopefully that’ll make up for the gpa a bit. Also, my schedule includes 6/8 of the AP classes offered at my highschool, and i only couldn’t take ap phys due to scheduling conflicts. Also, ap bio is something I avoided on purpose but scheduling conflicts are a side reason for not having taken that class too.

Most people applying to Ivy league schools have the most rigorous course load, so honestly that is nothing special. In my opinion, personal reasons for one year won’t make it up much at all. The fact is that uPenn averages 3.8+ GPA for its entering class, including athletes, VIPs, and legacies…

Since it’s Wharton, it’d be a bit of a stretch? You have great ECs, but the 680 on Math 2, GPA, and even the SAT score could hurt you. Just make sure your essays are spectacular and highlight your leadership/business skills.

Walrus: yeah I know, I wish I hadn’t wasted so much time throughout highschool, but I guess it is what it is.

Adeline: do you think I should retake the math 2, I know for a fact I can get a higher score, but it is January already
