<p>Hello, I'm in my third year at a CC. I was formerly a musical theatre major, but switched to English after three semesters. I had one F (I retook the class and got an A), and a D in a musicianship class. I didn't retake the music class because I switched majors and in order to retake the class, I would also have to retake a Harmony class (I got a B in that, but they're concurrent enrollment). I have two W's (in a dance class and a piano class), but I explained both of them and had good reasons for dropping both classes. I've gotten straight A's since switching majors. I wasn't able to do TAP or TAG because by the time I switched majors, I had more than 30 units and no longer qualified for my school's scholar's program. I'm taking my last math class in the Spring. </p>
<p>I have a 3.73 gpa (as of the summer; I don't know what it will be after fall grades, but it should go up).

<p>I explained some difficult personal situations that I went through in high school and in my first couple semesters in college. I've got some extra curriculars and volunteer experience. A couple of the extra-curriculars relate to being an English major (writing, etc.). No work experience. I'll be done with IGETC by the end of Spring. I have all my major pre-reqs done.</p>
