If you are presently attending an Affluent parochial private high school your chances are 50-50, If you are currently attending a democratic poor high school you are a shoe in… And that’s my opinion

For placements, the department of the major your applied with will be a determinant factor. Although big, UF does not have the room to house all its freshmen in the introductory or basic courses. Besides, a student with the same GPA with AP has a better chance than a student without. Perhaps not so much in FSU or UCF, but UF is different.

Solid chance, IMO. Your major doesn’t matter. I haven’t seen a single credible post on this thread, it was either too conclusive (yeah you’re in for sure!) or had too much speculation. The most someone can tell you in a chance me is if THEY think in THEIR opinion, you have a good chance or not. No one knows if you’re in or rejected and if whatever happens, only admissions really knows why

In my opinion, based upon your course load, weighed GPA and SAT score, you definitely would fit in well @ UFL. Unfortunately from what I have seen, UFL usually will spread their acceptances to all Florida schools and unless you are near the top of your graduating class, then your chances are decreased. That is why I stated, that if you are graduating from a top level school, then your chances are lower as apposed if you were graduating from a lower level school. Wish you luck !
