<p>I’m not trying to offend you but those stats are pretty low for NYU’s standards. You gpa and class rank is very weak and you don’t have any impressive ECs to back yourself up either. My suggestion is to apply for other schools, if you want to study in NY, apply to CUNYs, you will probably get in and the cost is very low there.</p>
<p>NYU is a highly competitive school, ranked as one of the “new ivy leagues.” Most of the incoming class ranks in the top 10% of their class, has above a 3.6 GPA, and a very highly competitive SAT/ACT score; in addition to their extracurriculars. </p>
<p>Your extracurriculars are a bit lacking, GPA and class rank low, SAT lower than average superscored… If you were applying to tisch with amazing credentials I’d say it was a maybe but CAS/LSP; it definitely is a big reach school. Not impossible, but definitely a reach.</p>
