Chance me

I am from Pennsylvania and i am extremely interested in FSU.
Unweighted GPA: 3.7
Weighted: 4.0
SATS (absolutely terrible) 1500
Definitely retaking them and probably will get 300 higher, because I just started taking a class.
EC: Cheerleading, Dance Team, SAD club, SAFE club, Interactive club, ski club, Spanish club.
Any other suggestions or advice would be extremely helpful especially being from the north!
Also attending National Merit Medical Forum on University of North Carolina. Applying for Georgetowns Medical Institue and just got invited to National Merit Leadership Forum at Harvard.
AP: Psychology
Honors: Biology, Chemistry, English Honors
School is #14 in the state
Taking other AP courses next year

Your gpa is really good but compared to my schools offering of advanced classes, 1 AP and 3 Honors won’t do it. My friend got rejected with a 3.8 UW and like 4.8 W I think FSU GPA was a 4.1 or something along those lines. I got accepted with a 3.2 UW 4.4 W 3.8 FSU but I took 9 AP classes and all the rest were academic and honors however my school offers like 18 ap classes. If your school doesn’t offer many classes that are labeled “advanced” I think you’re good gpa and rigor wise. That SAT score is very low. But if you do get the 1800 I think you have a good chance @ being admitted. Good Luck :). Go Noles!!!

So far, so good. But your SAT is terrible and possibly not even making minimums.
I’m not certain if you knew, but FSU, like many other schools allow you to super score your SAT scores, meaning you can take your SAT test as many times as you wish and FSU will only use the highest in each section. If I was you, I’d strive for a “minimum” of 1900. Good Luck,

A 1500 SAT would meet the minimum requirements for FSU only if your 1500 was split perfectly evenly across the 3 scores:

If you don’t have a 500 in all three sections, you absolutely need to retake the SAT (or take the ACT), or else you aren’t meeting FSU’s minimum requirements. Raising your score an average of 100 points in each section is going to be very difficult, but more than likely, you’re going to need to raise your score at least a few points just to meet FSU’s minimums.
