My mid term was a 4.0.

Extracurriculars:
Biotech project placed ninth at TSA Nationals (studied the usage of algae as a food and as a fuel), Designed a Flow Cytometer and we plan to create a biofuel this year,
Varsity Swim team 4 years and captain 2 years, Secretary of STEM Club, Secretary of Tutor Club, and participated on an iGem team junior year

Recommendations: I sent 2 recs and they are very good. Thanks!

Essays: I think they're good

My interview with an alum is going to be next week.

shut up seabasstiano, his test scores are okay… do NOT obsess on test scores. No one can tell you for sure your chances, apply ED if it is your top school. Just write really good essays and thats it… the process is random as hell.

lol, yeah, it is hard to estimate effectively. I know a good number of people who didn’t even clear 2000 on their SATs who got in, and some of those were in the high 17/low 1800s, and were not athletes. It varies quite a bit.

eduard97: you should learn how to get along on the play ground. If you bother to read carefully, you’ll see that OP has already applied.

But I agree w/sebass – while no one can realistically “chance” the OP, the test scores are an area of weakness, in comparison w/the other applicants – esp for a Mech Eng major.

I think that you would be pretty well off in terms of objective stats if you we’re applying into a different major (though the 610 in physics still wouldn’t look fantastic)
But if you really want to do mechanical engineering, then no one should stop you :)
