<p>It’s gonna be a tight squeeze. Your GPA, course rigor, and ECs are all pretty good. But your ACT is kind of low for Lehigh. I think their middle 50% range is 28-32. However I think the summer program you did there will definitely help you and I think you will end up getting in.</p>
<p>I think they are being a little too hard on you. First of all, all of your stats are great with the exception of your ACT score. However, Lehigh, like any other good school, looks at your application holistically. Because of this, they aren’t going to discard your application just because of your ACT score; they will first look at everything else that’s good. </p>
<p>Also, your EC’s look great but do you have any leadership activities other than through Invisible Children? Having a lot of EC’s won’t help as much as having a couple that you’re very, very dedicated to. </p>
<p>What I do completely agree with Edward and yankeesfanatic about is that if Lehigh highly weights the importance of that summer program you took then you more likely than not will be accepted. If they don’t care at all about it then I’m not sure how your decision will go but I would bet you’d still be accepted.</p>
<p>I was VP my freshman year of Student government and 2 years president for IC. I don’t specifically have leadership positions (president/vp) in the EC however within each EC I have had some type of position (co-chairperson for three blood drives/leader in Cultural Heritage Diversity Day/etc)</p>
<p>You don’t need a title, you just need to have taken initiative, led people, led an event, raised money, came up with an idea, helped propose an idea, talked with administrators, etc. etc. etc. </p>
<p>It seems that you have plenty of leadership roles, then! I really think you’ll be fine. Your ACT is low but you’re otherwise a strong candidate.</p>
<p>You should check out the report on Lehigh’s admissions process. It may be on the Philadelphia Inquirer. The most surprising aspect of it was that they are very critical of applicants who have not visited their campus. They want to feel wanted. So if you have not yet visited, you should definitely check it out!</p>
