<p>Emerson College in Boston is my top top top choice. I wanna major in communications. It feels like it might be a reach for me but please chance me as well as offer any additional advice to increase my chances. Thank you!</p>

<p>Female, Junior, Asian, Out of State (California)
My cumulative GPA up until this year has been 3.9w (3.6uw). My current GPA is a 3.2w (2.7uw..) but I'm working on getting that up... so I'm not sure what the cumulative would be now.</p>

<p>I haven't taken the SAT/ACT yet but my PSAT was horrible like mid 1700s (I didn't study at all though) and my practice ACT was 27 (Didn't study for that either)</p>

1 yr american cancer society club (and another year as a senior during which i will be co-president)

4 yrs CSF
I wanna start an online magazine this summer...
Also maybe a YouTube channel for singing is that a thing..
I've played guitar for seven years I dont know does that count?
Also gonna get a job this summer.</p>

Helped repair homes in NOLA for a week last summer
1 summer teacher assistant at a school
2 summers spending time with the elderly every week
1 summer delivering food every week (and this summer too hopefully)
2 yrs teaching Sunday school throughout the school year
Within the 4 years of high school I will have about 200 service hours completed</p>

<p>Study for the ACT and get a 30 or higher, get the GPA up, and you stand a good chance at getting in.</p>
