For an Asian, you need to step it up.

You don’t know my life

UGH I KNOW YOU’RE RIGHT OK

I understand you come from a difficult family situation.
I’m not blaming you.
But unfortunately, the system is against us. They don’t want Asians who are on target, they want Asians who are amazing.
Meanwhile, Mexicans and blacks are held to lower standards to accommodate for their academic incompetence. (At least that’s what affirmative action implies)

Its the truth. They hold black people and mexicans to a lower standard in order to make their school “diverse”. I like to call it reverse-racism. You attempt to not be racist by admitting more black people but you are being racist by holding them to a lower standard.

So what are some good matches for an underachieving Asian such as myself? Preferably in California or Boston. I want to major in journalism.

You better have a pretty damn heartwarming essay!
