You will need to explain SAT. Do you have time to do better? The SAT will hurt you and may kill your plans. The Adcom will be looking for a 600/600/600 min. But thats what I’m seeing.

Our daughter had an ACT of 25 (26 superscored) and a similar GPA and got in ED. She had a lot of service and leadership in her EC’s but didn’t have the diversity advantage. I’m pretty sure she would not have gotten in RD though because of the ACT. She’s just not a good test taker, but is very successful with hands-on engaged type learning, which is Elon’s specialty. If that’s true for you, then highlight that somehow in your essay. The best advice that I can give is visit and meet with professors, admissions counselors etc.; let them know that you love Elon, that it’s your first choice, and tell them what you can offer them. If you apply ED and write a good essay I think you have a great chance – huge bonus of ED is that you get first choice of housing and classes. Good luck!

Second the previous comment. Another round of SAT/ACT might be helpful is boosting your super-score, but on the whole you are a competitive applicant. EC’s are great, unweighted GPA is strong, and applying ED can make a world of difference. Great chance - even better with higher test scores

Hi! I’m also going to apply ED to elon this fall. My GPA is a little lower than yours but my ACT is a 27 and I’m retaking it with the goal of 29. While their admission rate for ED is really high, if Elon’s your first choice I would definitely try to raise your test scores just to take any question out of it. And from what I understood affirmative action doesn’t really benefit asians, but I noticed elon has a 2% asian population, so maybe that is something they’d be trying to improve.
