I'm interested in Linguistics</p>
<p>Basically the same as my stats (34 ACT, 3.5 GPA UW), and I got into the Honors program and am attending in the fall! Just write good essays and show that you really want to go to NYU!</p>
<p>My biggest tip for the essays is try to make them as conversational as possible, and try to be creative! NYU admissions puts a lot of emphasis on creativity.</p>
<p>Looks like you have a good shot! I’m an incoming freshman at NYU and I can honestly say you’ll be well-rounded in their standards.</p>
<p>Much like @aeisrael said, make sure you put some creativity into those essays. Think outside the box – NYU readers love that. All in all, it’s a school that looks for individuals who want to impact the world with a great mind (and a great price!), so I wish you the best of luck in your application. :)</p>
