<p>Hi i am a rising senior who lives in Maryland (female/asian indian/public highschool)</p>

<p>chance me for: penn state, UMBC, towson, university of maryland, drexel, ohio state, rutgers, university of delaware, george washington university, and UNC chapel hill.</p>

<p>majoring in chemistry/biology</p>

<p>unweighted overall gpa: 3.76/4.0
weighted overall gpa: 4.48/5.0</p>

<p>ive taken SAT once in june and wil take it again in October
SAT scores: cr 560, math 610, writ 600 (1770)
(in october cr and math should increase about 100pts total)</p>

<p>extra cirics: nhs (2yrs), snhs (2yrs), mhs (1yr), spanishnhs (2yrs), student gov (4yrs), student council (4yrs), horizon club (4yrs), jv cheer (2yrs), spring track (1yr), spring musical (1yr).
i will be joining model un in senior year</p>

<p>leadership: student government treasurer (2yrs), nhs secretary (1yr), jv cheer captain (2yrs).</p>

<p>AP classes i will have taken by end of senior year: chem, stats, english lang comp, english lit, calc ab, world history, econ, biology</p>

<p>honors: 1st place in school science fair for chemistry category
community service: i have participated in several different comserv activities through horizon club</p>

<p>my number one choice is UMD (university of maryland)
i would really appreciate it! thank you!</p>

<p>I think you can get into all of these schools. George Washington and UNC are going to be high reaches. good luck!</p>

<p>UNC: Reach (you may as well be applying at Duke)
UMD: High match
UMBC: Low match
Towson: Low match
Drexel: Low match
Ohio State: Match/High match
GWU: Reach (but lower than UNC)
U Delaware: Match
Penn State: Low match/Match (poor financial aid)
Rutgers SAS/SEBS: Match</p>

<p>You will get into Towson, UMBC, UMD (they gave my friend with your SATs second semester admission), and probably Drexel and Ohio state, U Deleware, Penn state, Rutgers but unfortunately not GWU or UNC.</p>

<p>I agree with the above posters… Your stats are all great except for SAT. If I were you, I would definitely consider taking the SAT again or try your luck with the ACT. If you score high on either of those tests, you can get accepted to much better schools, too. Good luck!</p>
