Your parents’ affiliations with USC (legacy) could help out as far as admission to USC (no such thing for UCLA admissions) but those Bs may hurt you somewhat. Did you take all of those AP classes without sitting for the AP tests? I only see an AP Studio Art score. The classes you took at CC, UCLA, and Stanford are nice, but I think you should try to raise your ACT score or attempt the SAT since your UC GPA likely won’t meet the average for accepted students (although strength of high school will be taken into account), and your current test score is around the average. You’ll want to get as high a score the second time around to partially compensate for the GPA. You also might want to give SAT subject tests a shot, to try to boost your application. Your extracurriculars look fine to me, you’ve spent a lot of time and shown dedication to a couple of activities and at this point it’s not worth it to add a random extracurricular for the sake of writing it on the application unless it’s something major. Since you’re entering senior year I would study for those standardized tests and put a lot of effort into the essays and make yourself stand out.

Honestly, I got in with:
-a 3.78 GPA weighted
-2/5 APs and 4/7 IBs passed
-3 c’s in my whole high school career
-1700 SAT
-26 ACT
-drumline 4 for years

However, I think my personal statement might have been on some type of acceptable level for the application readers
