<p>So Pitt Main is my all time first choice school and my low SAT score really gives me some doubts about getting in or even applying.
My school does GPA out of a 100 point scale and I believe mine is about a 92%.
Freshman year I took mostly College prep classes but tried my hardest and sophomore and junior year of high school I took all honors and AP courses and I'm continuing this for my senior year, taking two AP classes and all other honors courses. My SAT score out of 2400 was a 1660 :( I took the SAT twice and scored around the same both times, so I'm taking the ACT in September.
I was involved in a lot of after school activities all throughout high schools and was not involved in any sports. I played a big role in our school's Mock Trial team all four years of high school, I am part of campus ministry and run retreat weekends for other students, I am a girl scout and organize weekend trips for young girl scouts. I am active in my town's Republican club and environmental club. I have a part time job at a grocery store and have worked there since my sophomore year of high school, working on average of 16 hours a week. I have traveled to Italy with a group from my school. I was also a part of the Irish Culture Club and in my Junior year I was a representative for the club.
My prospective major is Biology. I am from a larger Northern New Jersey Catholic High School. I am also Caucasian.
For what it's worth, both my grandfather and my aunt are graduates of Pitt. And I'm not sure if it means anything but I will not need any sort of financial aid (and I'm not sure if that helps at all in terms of getting in?) Chance me!!</p>
