Chance Me? :)

So Delaware is one of my first choices for school but my low SAT scores give me doubts about even applying.
My school does GPA out of a 100 point scale and I believe mine is about a 92%.
Freshman year I took mostly College prep classes but tried my hardest and sophomore and junior year of high school I took all honors and AP courses and I'm continuing this for my senior year, taking two AP classes and all other honors courses. My SAT score out of 2400 was a 1660 I took the SAT twice and scored around the same both times, so I'm taking the ACT in September.
I was involved in a lot of after school activities all throughout high schools and was not involved in any sports. I played a big role in our school's Mock Trial team all four years of high school, I am part of campus ministry and run retreat weekends for other students, I am a girl scout and organize weekend trips for young girl scouts. I am active in my town's Republican club and environmental club. I have a part time job at a grocery store and have worked there since my sophomore year of high school, working on average of 16 hours a week. I have traveled to Italy with a group from my school. I was also a part of the Irish Culture Club and in my Junior year I was a representative for the club.
My prospective major is Biology. I am from a larger Northern New Jersey Catholic High School. I am also Caucasian.
And I'm not sure if it means anything but I will not need any sort of financial aid (and I'm not sure if that helps at all in terms of getting in?) Chance me!!

UD is unlike many major Research Universities in that UD places a greater emphasis on rigor of HS curriulum and the grades one gets in advanced courses (Honors, AP, etc.) in making their admission decisions with a lesser emphasis placed on SAT/ACT scores (however hopefully you will do better on the ACT-some students do especially if they are better in science and math). UD recalculates applicant GPA’s looking at major core academic subject areas (English, Lab Sciences, Social Sciences, History, Math, and Foreign Languages). From what you have listed it looks like your academic rigor and grades are very good and should definately be in your favor. If you can get an ACT composit of over 24 this would increase your chances. Your EC’s are also very good. UD does consider admission interviews in their admission decisions so you might want to consider doing this if you really have a major interest in UD. Competition for admssion to UD has been steadily increasing so it is becoming increasingly difficult to predict odds for admission. IMHO UD is somewhat of a reach school for you but I would not say it is impossible (especially if you an get a decent score on the ACT). I do not believe the need (or lack of need) for financial aid is a factor in the admisson decision process. In any event you would not find out about your admission decision until next March so it would be prudent to have some back up plans in place. Best of luck to you.
