Chance me?

I am interested in applying Restrictive Early Action to Stanford and I'm certain that it's my top choice. It is also a reach school obviously however I was wondering what are my chances to not only to get admitted to Stanford but also the Ivy League schools.
- Both of my parents are Mexican ( I'm Hispanic)

-4.04 Weighted GPA ( School doesn't give us our unweighted)
Class Rank- 16 out of 95? (It's hard to say many people left and came to my school)
-ACT- Have't taken an official ACT however I've been scoring in the upper half 20's hoping to hit the 30s the first time since I've been studying A LOT!
-I'm a rising senior.
- I would say I have an amazing CommonApp Essay considering I was mentored by many Ivy-League students and alumni to help me write a great essay.

I understand that any of the Ivy League and Top-Tier Universities are Reach schools for me but I do not wish to settle for anything less since I have always dreamed of going to one of these schools particularly Stanford however I do keep in mind that I need to be realistic sometimes however I still want to dream big and keep a positive attitude. PLEASE CHANCE ME! I also have a few connects from a few Stanford and Ivy- League Schools. I am also open to any suggestions in what I can do to improve my chances of getting into one of these schools. Thank you!

You have amazing stats, but if you get less than 30 on the ACT, don’t expect to get admitted to any of those schools. If I were you, I’d shoot for at least 32. (If that’s not possible, the only Ivy that might not be out of reach would be Cornell.) Other than that, all your stuff looks above and beyond what a lot of applicants have, so kudos! :)

Great work!!! Yeah you need at least 32+ ACT to be competitive but if you can, then I think your chances are looking really good!

I agree to what you guys said. I will try to hit over a 32 on the ACT. Thanks!

Again, you’re a competitive applicant except for that little ACT score. Have you considered taking the SAT? Some people do well on it that don’t do well on the ACT, and vice versa. If you can’t take the SAT, really try your hardest to get that ACT score up above a 32 or 33.

Yea I’ve taken the SAT more times and I’ve realized that I’m already better at ACT

Your EC looks fine and your course load too. Nevertheless, you did not give any score information that makes it impossible to chance. Particularly, you should be able to calculate uwGPA yourself. Considering you have so many AP classes and yet a wGPA of 4.04, I guess your uwGPA would be on the low side for Ivies and Stanford. Being URM helps, but you still need to have scores within the ballpark. If you are a rising senior but still have not taken ACT, SAT1, and SAT2, you are not really ready for applying any EA/ED or you would risk your chance for admission.

Actually the some of the AP classes I took are those I am taking senior year. I would say I have a pretty nice UW GPA. But I need to calculate it since it’s more difficult considering it is my cumulative GPA. I have taken SAT and SAT II however I am taking other SAT II that I know I will do better than the ones I have took. I am not taking SAT anymore I am focusing more on ACT. I’ve been taking practice exams. Thanks for the feedback!

^ Also, top schools usually admit students within the top 10% class rank.

Your ACT hurts you.

Aim for 33+ if you want stanford.

Yea the whole top 10% worries me.
