Lifeguard/Swim Instructor from Sophomore Summer to Now
Volunteered at Elementary School Junior Summer
Library Volunteer Junior School year
Varsity Swimming all years of high school
Club swimming for 9 years</p>
<p>You would be a low reach for UIUC Computer Engineering. But there are also Statistics & Computer Science as well as Mathematics & Computer Science majors in the LAS of UIUC that you may consider. For UIUC engineering, the average GPA is near 3.9, class rank top 1-9%, and mid 50 ACT is 31-34 (vary with programs).</p>
<p>Note that UIUC admit you to specific program. Being in LAS not necessarily means less competitive. ChemE (Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering) is one perfect example. I think the Computer Sciences in LAS would also be a kind of competitive.</p>
