<p>Just looking for opinions!
I am a transfer from a CC who is interested in transferring to a UC as a biology major.
What UC's do you guys think i have a good chance of getting into with my stats!
Im a hispanic from a low income with a 3.24 gpa and plan to get it to a 3.3 by the end of the fall.
I'll have the
Bio sequence
Chem sequence
and Calc Sequence completed</p>
<p>wont have O Chem nor physics completed (physics wont be completed because my campus doesn't offer the physics that will articulate over)</p>
<p>Thanks for your guy's input and do you think i should apply to Cal States as well? if so which ones? i live in the San bernadino, ca area</p>

<p>I also wanted to add that the schools that i was interested in applying was Davis (first choice), Santa Barbara, Santa Cruz, and Irvine!
any input will be greatly appreciated!</p>

              <p>im stressing about this</p>

<p>Don’t stress. First off, do you have 30 semester units or 45 quarter units? You only need a 3.2 to sign a transfer agreement to Davis, SB, and Irvine, and only a 3.0 for SC. So if you have that you are in.</p>
<p>If not, I think you will still get into Davis, and definitely at least one of your schools. It says you need a 2.8 to be competitive on the Davis site, so you are in good shape. Being Hispanic won’t hurt either. If it were me, I would probably apply to a Cal state just in case (if you aren’t able to sign a TAG) but that’s just because I’m cautious. I honestly think you will get into one of the UCs, even if you can’t TAG.</p>

              <p>Berkeley : No
LA : No
SD : Possible Waitlist
SB/Davis : Likely
Irvine : Very Likely
SC/Riverside/Merced : Safety</p>

<p>Yes i will have over 30 units completed i have about 50 at this time.
I was wondering why UCI was a very likely, I thought UCI would be more difficult then UCD and UCSB.
any other opinions?</p>

<p>well TAG deadline is already over… although i did TAG to davis i believe it will be rejected because i realized to late that i did not add a course from 2 years ago that i have taken. Its not an important course because it was non transferable and it was a pass or non pass grade it i received a pass. But regardless i think they will deny it because I heard they are strict on the TAG applications. So I am just trying to see what my chances are without the TAG to rely on…</p>

UC Merced: Shoo-In.</p>
