Freshman year- All A's
as many honors courses as possible
Sophomore year- All A's, 1 B+
1 AP
Junior year- 8 A's, 6 B's, 1 C (in calculus 1 semester, but year end grade is a B)
hardest course load possible (Governor's School for science and math for 3 classes, then I go back to home high school for 4 classes. technically 7 AP's). wrote an explanation for the C.
Senior year- Predicted 4 A's 3 B's or 3 A's 4 B's for quarter grades. Same course load as junior year

Superscore 2120 SAT, (770M, 630CR, 720W)
ACT composite 31
SAT II's Chem 680, Math II 790

UW/W is about 3.7 or 3.8/4.4
class rank 18/315, top 6%

EC's too long to list: lots of awards, internships, and camps(some were paid for if you got in)

essay= amazing
counselor rec= amazing
teacher rec 1= above avg
teacher rec 2= great

Duke= mid/high reach
UVA= match/high match
Georgia tech= match
Michigan Ann Arbor= match/high match
Virginia Tech= Safety

Am i close? and will UVA be hard to get into with my junior year grades? in state

Downward trend? Speaks poorly for your ability to handle rigorous classes

What is your intended major? What is you highest single sitting SAT?
From your school list, it seems you want to study engineering. For that, UMich would be a low reach for you. Your SAT/ACT are at 25% while your GPA is below admission average.

Bump… Duke is ed and my brother goes there by the way

^It really doesn’t make a difference if your brother goes there. Usually family legacy is taken into consideration if your father or grandfather attended the school.

UMich is a slight reach, not a match. You are right about the others.

@billcsho engineering is a possible major… And are u sure my sat is at 25%? I checked umich middle 50 and it was 650-750M 600-700CR 620-720W

Make sure you check the stat for CoE. The mid 50 is around 50-100 higher than LSA. For 2012, the median SAT CR+M was 1410. It went up higher last year but I don’t have the data yet.
For LSA, the mid 50 is 2030-2250 in 2013. UMich does not superscore although they will look at individual section scores.
For ACT, the mid 50 for CoE is 31-34 while it is 29-33 for LSA.
Median GPA for CoE is 3.9 (2012) vs 3.85 (2013, 3.83 in 2012) for LSA.
Also, your data are outdated. See their latest one here:

Your numbers are off 30-50 point in each section.
