Chance Me

Hi guys, I just completed my transfer application to NYU yesterday.
I'm a sophomore applying for the Spring. In addition, I'm applying to UCLA and UC Berkeley at the end of the month and Georgetown, but for the Fall.

Political Science major @ Cal State,
HS GPA: 3.75 W, 3.65 UW
College GPA: 3.85, 44 units finished, 14 in progress
Good Recommendation from Professor within Poli Sci major
Poor SAT score -- 1620
Fair amount of EC and have had a job since HS
XC and Track & Field in HS

Chance Me, please!

A) you need 60 units to transfer to UCLA or UCB. 58 means you are still competing with HS applicants and you’ll prob be denied.
B) Once you hit 60 no one will care about any HS stuff.
C) You need a pretty good reason for transfer and the personal rec from your teacher won’t matter.

It’s doable if your statement is good.

Thanks, I’ll have 90 units by the time I would transfer to UCLA or UCB. I have two more quarters between now and the fall.

90 from a 4 yr will be a problem. That’ll make you a senior level transfer.
