<p>I do not know if it is worth mentioning, but I attended COSMOS, an elite summer program for high schoolers in California to take classes in science/mathematics for a month. I have also gone to China on a program funded by the US State Department for two months.</p>
<p>I live in a rural area of northern California, not the Silicon Valley/SoCal stereotype. My household income is about 200,000 dollars, but I will have two brothers attending college at the time of my application. I am white.</p>
<p>Thanks for any feedback! It has always been my dream to attend an Ivy. My parents, grandparents, and just about every other relative have all attended an Ivy.</p>
