I am looking to apply to the Air Force Academy in the fall of this year and I was wondering if you all could chance me. I attend the Carol Martin Gatton Academy of Mathematics and Science, focusing on computer science as a prospective major. I would be applying for nominations in Kentucky.

It’s really quite hard to do “chances” because there’s so much that goes into it. Apply to Boys State and the AFA’s Summer Seminar. Here’s an excellent website where you’ll get a lot of feedback: [United States of America Service Academy Forums - Powered by vBulletin](http://www.serviceacademyforums.com/).

It sounds like you are on a good track. Admissions looks for excellence in academics, leadership, and athletics. If you keep hitting those points, you have a very good chance.

You have as good a chance as anyone. Excellent profile. I predict that you will get a nomination. Getting an appointment is actually not predicable.

Also apply for the Air Force ROTC scholarship as “Plan B.” UK will give you free room and board if you bring your scholarship there. See this:
